The Ecotourism Center Kamak Maki is a community project with the goal to preserve the ancestral knowledge of the region and educate people about the native Ecuadorian Kichwa culture and other cultures of the Ecuadorian Amazon.

Kamak Maki is a name in the local language of Kichwa, meaning hands working together. It is located in the community of Chichicorumi, about 45 minutes from the city of Tena, in the Napo Province of Ecuador. We invite you to visit this beautiful place to appreciate the nature of the jungle, learn about native cultures in this region, and support a community development project.
